Visit the sustainable market in Sowerby Bridge, or the 2008 best market hall in Britain - Halifax Borough Market. Sample high street shopping in the Woolshops or visit one of the largest independent department stores, Harvey’s of Halifax. With organic cafés, award winning cuisine and a focus on 'fair trade' across the district, there's always somewhere where your taste buds will be enlightened.
